Aurélie Ferrière is a composer and music producer working across electroacoustic music, music theatre and graphic arts. Active at Elektronmusikstudion (EMS) in Stockholm since 2016, she often composes and performs in transdisciplinary contexts: from a research sailing boat in the South Pacific to a former nuclear reactor or an ancient grain silo. A trained violinist and Tonmeister graduate from Paris CNSM, she has worked extensively with orchestras and opera houses across Europe, in recording studios in the US, and for the Swedish National Radio as a producer and score supervisor. She has fronted indie bands across diverse genres and performed twice at SXSW (2015, 2019). Her growing interest in staging has led her from collaborating on opera productions to composing for music theatre.
