Biografi / Biography:
Linnéa Talp (b. 1990) is a composer and musician (singer/organist), based in Stockholm. In 2022, her instrumental debut album Arch of Motion was released, music written for pipe organ, with subtle elements of instruments such as bass clarinet, voice and transverse flute. Participants do i.a. Mariam Wallentin (voice) and Christer Bothén (bass clarinet).
Her body of work is based on air, timbre and of slowly evolving harmonic, in which she aims for the vague and subtle qualities of sounding and listening. Her practice is centered around presence and a bodily listening, with breathing as its very foundation.
In recent years, she has appeared in contexts such as Norbergfestial, Alternativa festival (Prague), Malmö Konstmuseum, Organ Sound Art Festival (Copenhagen) and Café OTO (London). Linnéa is currently studying a bachelor degree in Electroacoustic Composition at the Royal College of Music (KMH), Stockholm.
