Teresia Barbara Togander
Biografi / Biography:
Barbara Togander is a vocal artist, turntablist, free improvisor, composer and sound artist born in Uddevalla, Sweden, based in Buenos Aires, Argentina. She studied bass at Walter Malosetti's Jazz School, the Conservatorio de Música López Buchardo and the Conservatorio de Música Popular de Avellaneda. In the early 90's she gets into free, experimental music and free improvisation where she deepens in the sound possibilities of the voice, the turntable and electronics.
Has played and collaborated with a great number of musicians both in Argentina and internationally, Otomo Yoshihide, Julián Galay, Enrique Norris, PAN, Philip Leitner, Christoff Kurzmann, Christian Reiner, Capitanes de la Industria, VIU, Manolo Rodriguez, Carlos Costa, Larry Polansky, Chris Mann, Shelley Hirsch, Nora Minc, No chilla, Violeta García, Mussa Phelps, La Bomba de Tiempo, Dieb13, Walter Malosetti , Norberto Minichilo, Santi Vazquez, Joan Monné, Jorge Espinal, Agustin Genoud, Sebastian Verea, Sami Abadi, Jorge Chikiar, Omar Grandoso, Sam Nacht, Grod Morel, Francisco Ali-Bouchourd, Sergio Verdinelli, El Diablo en la boca , Futura Bold, Paul Pignon, Ferrán Fages, Leonel Kaplan, Luis Conde among many others
